| dc.description.abstract | Este proyecto “Malecón del Siglo XXI” consiste en hacer mejoras a la infraestructura de este sector. El área específica que se estará impactando esta localizada en el sector Húcares en el municipio de Naguabo. Ese desarrollo tiene comienzo en el puente #122 y llega a su fin en el “Muelle de los Pescadores”. En este proyecto se desarrollaron diversas fases que surgen a raíz de la decadencia y desatención infraestructural en este sector, la cual tendría una proyección de duración de 25 años. Para estas mejoras se crearon diseños estructurales, y se analizaron los impactos ambientales que va a crear durante y después del proceso de construcción. Esta fases incluyen: un nuevo puente como substituto del existente y la repavimentación del área para mejorar el sistema de transporte; un complejo deportivo de 3 niveles de deportes como el baloncesto, soccer, “Bowling” y otras cosas que hacen de esta una idea atractiva para poder fomentar el deporte en este sector; un estacionamiento multipiso de 5 niveles; un centro de deportes acuáticos para atraer el turismo, y una hospedería para brindar un lugar seguro y divertido
