Abstract
Short circuit analysis is usually simplified neglecting shunt connections including system loads. If under particular conditions, system loads cannot be neglected, the superposition principle can be used, adding pre-fault currents to fault currents. The analysis presented in this paper considers system loads. Internal voltages and Th6venin methods are used in the short-circuit analysis and are illustrated in a line-to-ground fault problem. Loads are represented by two different methods under node voltages fluctuations, as constant impedances and constant current loads.
