Abstract
Personnel's motivation, performance and accuracy to execute their duties are important part impacted by unbalanced workload and insufficient number of resources. The evaluation of resources and balance workloads are part of the goals as to achieve company's production expectations. The main objective of this project is to improve the operator’s utilization by evaluating the number of operators and their work load. They were evaluated in order to identify whether those or other factors were the most significant contributors for not having enough time to prevent fails on systems. This project is focused in using Lean Six Sigma Methodology based on decrease the process variation, waste elimination, process improvement, and customer satisfaction in order to achieve the expected goal. The design project is composed of five phases using the Methodology of Lean Six Sigma; Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control, in order to identify improvement opportunities and eliminating/reduction of wastes.
