Cálculo de los coeficientes de la ecuación de pérdidas para un sistema de generación de potencia
Abstract
Calculation of the loss equation coefficients (Bmn) for a power generation system
Engineering has been very successful in the analysis of fuel costs, performance and efficiency of boilers, turbines, and generators. However, with the development of integrated power systems and the interconnection of operating companies, it is necessary to consider not only the incremental fuel costs but also the incremental transmission losses for optimum economy. In determining the economic distribution of load between plants we encounter the need to consider losses in the transmission lines. Although the incremental fuel cost at one plant bus may be lower, this plant may be much farther from the load center. The losses in transmission from this plant may be so great that economy may dictate lowering the power delivered to the load. While other plants with higher incremental cost but lower transmission losses may increase their delivered power. Transmission losses consideration has often proved to be important in the economic distribution of load. This paper includes a simple and brief introduction of the theoretical concepts and mathematical techniques involved in determining the loss equation coefficients (Bmn).
