Filtros digitales para el procesamiento de imágenes

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to design filters capable of extracting the contours of an image, thus reducing the distortion while processing an image. In order to attain this goal, we developed a group of computer programs to simulate the noise in the images and the behaviour of the filters. These programs will help to analyze the behavior of different digital filters to be used for processing images.
