| dc.description.abstract | El proyecto consiste en el desarrollo del Puerto Las Américas Rafael Cordero Santiago, ubicado en el pueblo autónomo de Ponce. Se propone el aumento de capacidad de almacenaje de contenedores de 250,000 TEU actuales a 2,350,000 TEU’s. Se llevará a cabo tres(3) fases que conlleva análisis estructural, diseño estructural, cálculos y construcción del Puerto. En la primera fase se propone un muelle tipo “HUB” de 3,400 pies de longitud. La segunda fase será mejorar la ubicación de almacenes existentes en el Puerto y la tercera fase consiste en el diseño de edificios administrativos, almacenes de venta y el acceso hacia el puerto que conecta una salida tipo trompeta que intersecta con la PR-52. | en_US |
