dc.description.abstract | This article showcases phase one of a
system that is able to analyze the Social Web. Here
we present how to create a harvester for the Social
Network Twitter. We explain the different
technologies used and how to proceed to improve
this first phase, as well as to provide ideas for
future phases. Social Networks are the biggest
buzzword on the Internet, and a tool like this
harvester will provide us a method to easily acquire
data. In order to execute some data mining
techniques that will help understand what is going
on to companies, governments and people. The
wealth of data readily available is of interest to
many, and we have been able to create a platform
where to get or view the data from Twitter.
