dc.description.abstract | Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are atype of aircraft that can be controlled remotely o r programmed to fly in an autonomous way. This project tested the applicability of strategies found in biological intelligenceto UAVs. The UAV simulation code chosen was also discussed. Resul ts show that some areas of the biological strategies translated were translated as they are exhibited on animals and plants. Other areas are translated differently since UAVs have either more capabilities than the different animals and pla n t i n question or different capabilities. The applicabilit y of biological strategies to UAVs is dependent on the capabilities of UAVs and the priority of the task that the swarm has to do. In applying these strategies of biological intelligence to UAVs, new possibilities can be introduced that will allow the UAVs to perform tasks in different ways and use different strategies that will improve UAV security.KeyTerms⎯Artificial intelligence, Biological intelligence,Swarm intelligence, Unmanned aerial vehicles | en_US |
