Programa emulador del microprocesador MC6800 para correrse en sistemas de computadoras personales basadas en procesadores Intel

Abstract

This paper presents the development of a program to emulate the Heathkit ET-3400 trainer and the MC6800 microprocessor on an IBM or compatible personal computer. The ET-3400 trainer is the only available tool at the Universidad Politécnica de Puerto Rico for experimenting with the MC6800 microprocessor, but its use is limited during lab hours only. Due to the availability of the IBM personal computer, this platform was used for the implementation of the software. In order to emulate the MC6800 microprocessor, the instruction code of the Intel 8086 microprocessor was used.
